Here's a 1920 motorcycle plate that I bought a couple years ago.  It had been amateurishly repainted so I figured I'd strip it and have it re-done.  After I got it stripped I realized that I'd screwed up.  Here it is after many hours of work:

This is the one of the patches I had to make for it:

This is the 1919 cycle plate out of my collection.  It had been painted an incorrect blue color many years ago so I stripped it, filled the rust pits and had it repainted.
