Sample Plates

Alabama actually began sending out sample plates sometime in 1926 but since they didn't have any ready-made sample plates (as we know them today), they actually sent out truck plates instead. I have been told that one of the ALPCA members here in Alabama has actually found the records of what plate numbers were sent out as samples. If that data does indeed exist, I'll work it in here somewhere.
